man, all my arty muscles are having a bit of a muscle spasm, I'm not sure if I'm getting tired, or don't want to actually do any work. My sketch book is filling but my homework is becoming stagnant.

Wow! I love the sketches! Especially the first one, there seems to be a natural humour within that first sketch, was that intentional or unconscious? Very interesting stuff! :D
I know what you mean, I felt that back in second year, I honestly think everyone goes through that at varying degrees, I just simply call it the "Second Year Blues", to describe that "stagnation" within our artistic/illustrative development. But don't you worry, let it motivate you to find ways to create awesome art that will blow your mind!!! Just hang in there. We illustrators are all in this together. :)
